‘As you probably recall, I started my Masters just as my Indefinite Leave to Remain was given last year. It is a two year course and it is coming to an end. I remember you saying you enjoy Classical Music, and I would like to invite you to my recital. It is on 8th June at 11.30 am at my college – the Royal Academy of Music at Baker Street. As it is an exam there will be a panel there and usually a small audience too of family and friends. I am very grateful for all the work you did to help me get this visa as otherwise I would not be on this course. So it would be my great pleasure to have you at my recital if you are able to make it.’
